I would love to hear from you. 4-10-17 I am so grateful for limitless possibilities and solutions constantly unfolding in this infinite universe if we open our minds to let Spirit figure things out for us, instead of our ego minds. I am grateful to be willing and available to experience the great goodness of Spirit that is constantly unfolding. Thank you, Life! 4-11-17 “Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.” Wayne Dyer The field of abundance is so vast. Spirit has provided all that we could ever need and our job is to open our arms and hearts wide to receive the plentitude of the universe. When the bank account is low or unforeseen bills spring up as an unwelcome surprise, I am so grateful to be able to tune into the knowing that I am always taken care of and supported…. that my needs are always met, and to purposefully not go into fear or thoughts of scarcity. I tune into the magnificent splendor within me and all around me, and I feel rich. 4-12-17 I open myself to the great wisdom of the Universe! I relax and know that miracles abound. So grateful to abide in the serene and calm assurance that this is so. 4-13-17 “No matter where life takes you the place that you stand at any given moment is holy ground. Love hard, and love wide and love long and you will find the goodness in it.” Susan Vreeland I appreciate each step I take on the holy ground of life. Each place, each person, each moment is wholly holy. So blessed! 4-14-17 “When the news is too heavy and the world seems dark, get lost in the joy of your gratitude.” Maureen Barberio Today I bask in thankful thoughts. I know how to focus on the myriad of beautiful people, places and things in my life that bring me delight. I can lose track of the outside world, and enhance my joy levels to the nth degree. Very grateful to have this powerful trick up my sleeve! _____________________________________________________ Deborah Perdue, RScP Author of “Grace of Gratitude Journals” and “Grace of Gratitude Reflections” and “Path of Gratitude Coloring Book” all of these and much more at www.graceofgratitude.com 541 862-7021

I would love to hear from you. 4-3-17 “Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.” Simone Weil To fully listen, and to be listened to is such a gift. I am grateful to be generous with my listening as much as possible, to give my undivided, focused attention to the one speaking. And I thank those who listen to me. Paying attention to one another is indeed a generous act -- especially in such hectic, busy times. 4-4-17 “From Joy we come, For Joy we live, In the sacred Joy we melt.” Yogananda My Joy is found within — while meditating, while creating, while doing anything I love… melting into Joy is nothing less than sublime. And being grateful always reminds me of the Bliss of Life, and I am ever thankful. 4-5-17 “Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts.” Marianne Williamson Let me acknowledge the fear I sometimes hold, then let it float away, with love overwhelming my heart and soul instead. Let me love every single person I know, and even love everyone I don’t know, for we are all connected and when I truly feel this, I let love flood my life. I am grateful that I remember what is most important, and allow love to guide my life, ever increasingly. 4-6-17 I am grateful to be able to embrace change, whether small or monumental. I am willing to change aspects of my life that are not working, and to watch new and more positive effects start to manifest. With change comes the unknown, and I am thankful to usually expect the best, many times excited, rather than to go into fear. 4-7-17 To me every hour of the light and dark is a miracle, every cubic inch of space is a miracle.” Walt Whitman Amen! I appreciate every second, every single minute, each precious hour of this spectacular life I live. Like a grand Easter Egg Hunt, the creator of the universe we inhabit placed miracles everywhere! We only need pay attention, and observe. The astounding variety of fauna and flora; the way every single person is unique, the richness of our senses — sight, sound, touch, hearing, smell to feel and view the magnificent beauty everywhere. And the love and compassion and caring that is invisible but so potent is the best phenomenon of all. Life is indeed a wondrous miracle, in itself. And I am so grateful. ________________________________________________________________ Deborah Perdue, RScP Author of “Grace of Gratitude Journals” and “Grace of Gratitude Reflections” www.graceofgratitude.com Center for Spiritual Living Licensed practitioner Spiritual counseling by phone or skype -- call for appt. 541 862-7021 Here is this week’s offering of thoughts of thanksgiving, by Deborah Perdue, author of Daily Gratitude Reflections and Grace of Gratitude Journal.

I would love to hear from you. 3-27-17 “Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends…” Beatles I am deeply grateful for reaching out when I am upset or frazzled or out of sorts and feeling stuck; for sharing and letting myself be vulnerable to show wounds of fear that may be festering. I am so thankful for dear friends who offer wise counsel and support when it is needed, who help me shift back into gratitude, and knowing all is well much faster than I could alone. And I know I give in that way too, when I am needed, so it is absolutely divine circulation. 3-28-17 I am grateful for my persistence. Perseverance furthers, as the I Ching wisely recommends, and I follow that advice. If I am giving a challenge, I adopt new paradigms to create a better outcome. This almost always works, and I celebrate my ability to affect positive transformation! 3-29-17 “Life is full of blessings. Full of grace. And I must choose to see.” Laurie Coomby In the midst of busyness, in the midst of bad news, in the midst of worry, when I breathe and allow myself to go within, I abide in serenity and calm and peace. Nothing in the outside world can affect me, truly….. I am very thankful for the ability to let go of anything holding me back from feeling the sweet, comforting embrace of Grace. 3-30-17 Not events, but outcomes. Visualize outcomes. Not the cracking of the bat, but gliding over home plate. Not the inking of deals, but the kind of life you’ll lead. Not the scale, the diet, or the food, but the admiration you have earned. And not the when’s, the where’s, the who’s, or the how’s, but the laughter, high-five’s, and wow’s. Not events, but outcomes. Visualize outcomes. Seeing you happy, The Universe aka Mike Dooley, theuniverse@tut.com I am so grateful, (and I know I’ve said this before), to be a co-creator with Spirit. I am glad to have keys to unlock the future. I am thankful that I can visualize outcomes! (not everyone can) My life is an amazing tapestry of all the good I can envision, and I’m so appreciative to watch the Universe say YES. 3-31-17 “Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better to take things as they come along with patience and equanimity.” Carl Gustav Jung I honor the dark and the light, the yin and yang of life. I am grateful that when I enter a Dark Night of the Soul, it is a mini one, only days rather than months. Then, I come out of it into the light -- into brilliant joy and serene peace and expansive love. |
